THERACREAM®
Market Comparison:
Currently,
there is no product on the market that has the proprietary
power of over 12 therapeutic ingredients that not only helps
provide relief for muscle and joint pain but also for tension
headaches and body stress. Most of the market leaders today
contain no more than 3 to 5 essential ingredients which are
usually synthetic accompanying a displeasing locker room odor
in a non aloe vera base. Instead, our cream uses the highest
grade botanical elements with an enticing aroma-therapeutic
scent in an aloe vera base. Other creams like the capsaicin
"hot pepper" creams usually contain only one therapeutic
ingredient. Additionally, studies show along with our own
clinical experience that these pure capsaicin type creams
can create much irritation for the patient. Our cream on the
other hand uses the whole herb of cayenne pepper which contains
some capsaicin but maintains the benefits without the irritation.
In comparing packaging the hot trend today is to use non touch
applicators. We purposely avoided doing this due to the fact
of missing out on another potential healing element. The art
of using touch as a means of therapy is taught in over 80
universities and offered in at least 200 U.S. hospitals including
Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and Georgetown University
Medical Center in Washington D.C. Far superior to any competitor,
every aspect of THERACREAM® is
clearly an advancement for topical pain relief.

Alert: Over The Counter Dangers
America's
most popular "quick fix" choice for pain is over
the counter medication in the form of NSAIDS (Non Steroidal
Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). More commonly known names for NSAIDS
include Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Acetaminophen, Bayer, Excedrin,
Advil, Aleve, Motrin-IB, Naproxen Sodium, Tylenol etc........
This multimillion dollar industry is creating serious damage
and often times death to our bodies. Specifically, NSAIDS
commonly cause liver toxicity, gastric ulcers, can be harmful
to asthmatics, and can be hazardous when mixed with alcohol.
Last year alone over 100,000 hospitalizations and 16,500 deaths
were attributed to these over the counter medications. Also,
be aware of so called "super safe aspirins" known
as Cox-2 inhibitors. Common names are Celebrex and Vioxx.
They are the leading most prescribed new drugs this year exceeding
over 12 million. Although they are somewhat safer than traditional
medication there usage does not come without side effects.
The Journal of the American Medical Association published
a report in August of 2001 indicating an increased cardiovascular
risk of heart attack, unstable angina, or stroke with the
use of Cox-2 inhibitors. The Wall Street Journal published
an article just 3 months after the release of Celebrex attributing
its use to 10 deaths and 11 cases of gastrointestinal disorders.
It appears that these Cox-2 inhibitors suppress wound and
ulcer healing. Therefore, caution is necessary when using
these new super drugs especially with ulcers which are probably
the most common side effect of the older NSAID's. A clear
safe alternative is the use of THERACREAM®.
